The good news keeps staggering through our office like a bloody corpse as the undead continue to leave their bloody fingerprints all over Seattle and this promises to be the biggest bloody handprint of all.
We are very pleased to announce that the Godfather of Zombie Movies, Mr. George A. Romero will be attending ZomBcon 2010 – Seattle to kick off the convention.
In honor of his royal Zombiness, we have a very special engagement on Saturday, October 29th that will be the Opening Gala Film Ceremony honoring George A. Romero in front of thousands of fans in the Zombie Capital of the World – Seattle for the big Halloween weekend.
This will be the ultimate bloody red carpet that will feature plenty of special guests for a huge night for Zombie fans and one hell of a Halloween celebration in Seattle in front of thousands fans. Romero is as big as they come for Zombie legend join us for the Seattle Convention followed by a Halloween Costume party at the elustrious Neumos Crystal Ball Lounge on Capitol Hill for the ZomBcon Zombie Prom Party. Presented by ZomBcon and the Seattle International Film Festival, we will be honoring his contribution and legacy within the Zombie Community since 1968, when he brought the world Night of the Living Dead.
He will be honored with ZomBcon’s Golden George Award, along with a retrospective of his amazing career and a sneak peak of what is next for the legendary director. You won’t want to miss this amazing event and be sure to make Seattle your destination this Halloween weekend.
George A. Romero will be in attendance for the entire three day convention hosted at the Seattle Center. He will involved in panel discussions, film screenings, and fan signing opportunities, and perhaps a sneak peek of what’s next for the legendary director.
