It seems like the good news keeps rolling in at the ZomBcon Seattle headquarters lately. We are pleased to announce another big event to help kick off the Halloween weekend in Seattle in true Zombie fashion.
ZomBcon is proud to be partnering with the gang from Neumos and Moe Bar for the ultimate Halloween costume party that Seattle has to offer; ZomBcon’s Prom Night of the Living Dead Masquerade Ball.
Ryan Reiter, Founder of ZomBcon discusses the partnership by saying “Neumos has a long history of being the hub of Seattle’s indie music scene since 1992, creating distinctly unique events and showcasing some of the biggest acts in Seattle. Located in the epicenter of one of the most culturally diverse neighborhoods in Seattle known for its community spirit – we can’t think of a better place to celebrate Halloween than Neumos in Capitol Hill.”
It’s all happening on Friday, October 29th at 8pm in Capitol Hill. It will be an unforgettable Halloween party. Think you may want to wait and find out more details? Well, we don’t expect these tickets to last very long, so mark your calenders and get ready for the ultimate Zom Rom.
The fun includes 3 bars, DJ’s, a headlining musical act, a Zombie Stripper Burlesque show, and special celebrity guests from ZomBcon weekend events in attendance. Plus two lucky people will be crowned Prom King and Queen at this year’s Prom Night of the Living Dead.
Neumos Crystal Ball and Reading Room, most often referred to simply as Neumos, is a mid-sized music venue in Seattle Washington. The venue was originally opened as Moe’s Mo’Roc’N Café in 1992 and re-launched in 2003 as Neumos (pronounced “new moe’s”).
The venue has many great amenities, and melds several business concepts within the venue walls. Neumos plays host to its restaurant, Pike Street Fish Fry, it’s neighborhood bar, aptly named MOE BAR and it’s private and public space, often rented out for birthday parties, wedding receptions and holiday parties, The VIP Room.
From Neumos’ press agent: The Concert Hall side of the business has always been our priority, and the lifeline to all other things that surround it. We pride ourselves on our always relevant and carefully curated music calendar, light production and state of the art sound system. The Concert Hall has 3 full service bars, and a second floor with a nicely seated mezzanine and balcony over looking the showroom. The showroom is draped in lush red theatre curtain, is fitted with an ample size stage, merch area, and superior unobstructed sight lines. We play host to several musical genres, by national and local artists alike including but not excluded to Indie Rock, Hip Hop, Punk Rock, DJ’s , Metal, Singer/Song Writers, Country and much more.
Being that the musical talent is really what makes Neumos what it is, let us say no more, and present you a list of some of our friends and family, who have graced our stage…..
