Producers of the record breaking Seattle Zombie Walk just announced that legendary actor, producer, writer, director Bruce Campbell will appear at their next big event ZomBcon.  This will be the first such zombie event, and it follows two successful Seattle Zombie Walks.

The Guinness World Record for largest Zombie Walk was retaken by Seattle in a show of true community and zombiehood.  On July 3, 2010  the annual “Red, White & Dead Zombie Walk” invaded Fremont (Center of the Universe) with thousands of zombies and spectators.  Event organizers reported 4,233 official registered zombie walkers made world history again as they walked and hobbled along the sidewalks of Fremont.  Check out the videos below.

On the July 4th weekend last year, the Fremont Outdoor Movies smashed the official Guinness World Record for the “Largest Zombie Walk on the Planet” with 3,894 participants. However, the record was quickly broken in August when to England’s Big Chill Music Festival recorded 4,026 zombie walkers.

Bruce Campbell is scheduled to be here for Halloween 2010 at ZomBcon, October 29 -31.

Zombie Walk  also provided the undead and their fans with an opportunity to contribute to the community. It will featured a non-perishable food drive in support of local non-profit Solid Ground, an organization that fights poverty. Participants brough their canned and non-perishable foods for collection at event registration.
